VVA Chapter 805 Roseburg Oregon originated on August 26, 1998 and our present membership is 246 members. Regularly scheduled meetings are held at 6:00 PM on the first Monday of each month in the Garden Valley Church complex located at 3047 Garden Valley Rd in Roseburg. If a scheduling conflict occurs that requires a change in meeting date and/or time we will notify members in advance by email.

Our Chapter sponsors an annual scholarship through Umpqua Community College. We are also evaluating a vocational scholarship at each high school in Douglas County that will primarily focus on those pursuing a technical vocation. The first vocational scholarships were granted this year with encouraging results.

Chapter 805 maintains an Honor Guard that provides Final Honors for Deceased Veterans. Additionally, a monument, the Oregon Memorial Traveling Wall, containing information for each Oregon State service member that perished in the conflict is on display throughout Douglas County.
